In a one day workshop, André Romijn will introduce you to the classic way of drawing. At the end of the day, after some excercises you will draw a full portrait.
If you haven’t any drawing or painting experience, you will learn in a few steps the basics of creating a portrait. The class is limited to five persons, to guarantee an informal atmosphere for exploring, learning and enjoyment.
What you will learn
As drawing is not a talent, but based on skills anyone can learn. I give you the tools to understand the basic techniques of drawing and/ or painting a portrait. After that you have to practice, practice and practice! You will be surprised how much your artwork will improve. You will achieve a better knowledge of materials and methods used by the artists from the Italian Renaissance and Baroque era and also how to improve your own drawing and painting skills
