Original artwork by André Romijn. Solitude, the title of this portrait was painted during the current pandemic. As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, many people are in lack of contact with others. Subject to their own situation, this could have positive and negative effects. Positive effects, like more freedom or increased sense of spirituality, could spark a person's creativity. Negative effects however, could trigger some physiological response that increase health risks.
