Solitude, the title of this large portrait by Award winning artist André Romijn, was painted during the pandemic of 2021. The eyes of this woman are looking at you and seems to follow you wherever you are. She wants to make - and be in contact with you!
As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, many people are in lack of contact with others. Subject to their own situation, this could have positive and negative effects.
Positive effects, like more freedom or increased sense of spirituality, could spark a person's creativity. Negative effects however, could trigger some physiological response that increases health risks.
