Barga Art and Music Festival 2022

Chamber concert – 17th July 11.30 – 12.30 at The Portrait Painting Gallery, 55051 Barga (LU).

The first concert of the BARGA Art & Music Festival will take place 17 July at 11.30 am until 12.30 pm. Performed by ‘Italian Cello Duo’; Francesca Gaddi and Alessandro De Felice.

Italian Cello Duo wants to take you on a journey through the history of music. Hence their repertoire holds many different composers, starting from the Baroque era; like Bach, Vivaldi and Geminiani, to contemporary, like Gardel and Piazzolla.

As seats are limited, early booking is highly recommended!

Francesca Gaddi:  Graduated at Conservatorio  L.Cherubini, Firenze and  The Royal Conservatory The Hague. She is a member of many orchestra’s  a.o. Accademia della  Scala di Milano.

Alessandro De Felice: Allessandro is the first cellist of the Orchestra Sinfonica Rossini di Pesaro, Violoncellist  in  Trio Dmitrij  and  teaches  Chamber  Music at the  Conservatorio  ‘S. Giacomantonio’ di Cosenza.

The way we lead our lives nowadays influences how we listen and perform music. Our intent is to bring to the foreground the phenomenal tonal colour and technical potential of the cello with very diverse repertoire.
